Tough Tits Co. began as a celebration of the women carving their own paths, leading the charge, and proving that the mountains are better when women are in them.

It started as one small idea, to make more room for women to feel powerful, welcome, and excited out there, and it’s grown into something much bigger.

Today, Tough Tits is a community of women who love the mountains, love learning, and love backing each other. We’re here for connection, adventure, laughter, progression, the odd stack, and the magic that happens when women feel supported to give something a go.

Our focus is simple: create real opportunities for women to step into the outdoors with confidence, through events, tours, creative workshops, and days that feel fun, approachable, and genuinely empowering. It’s about skills, yes, but it’s also about belonging.

Meet the founder

Bridie Rawson 

Founder • Backcountry Guide • Arc’teryx Ambassador

Bridie Rawson is the founder of Tough Tits Co., a backcountry guide, and a passionate community-builder in the Australian snow scene. She fell in love with the mountains as a child, and that early spark grew into a life spent helping women feel confident and welcome in alpine environments.

Bridie has worked in almost every corner of the snow industry, from lift operations and instruction to retail, guest services, and backcountry guiding. Along the way, she’s become known for building environments where women feel supported and encouraged.

Tough Tits Co. became the place where all of Bridie’s passions could come together: adventure, women’s empowerment, storytelling, and community connection. Whether she’s guiding a backcountry tour, running a park day, hosting a creative event, her purpose stays the same, to make the mountains feel like a home women belong in.
